Welcome to Jack Said What, the Brighton-based record label that’s been making considerable waves. Founded by the visionary trio of Irvine Welsh, Steve Mac and Carl Loben in the summer of 2022, Jack Said What quickly established itself as a powerhouse in the world of electronic music. With a strong focus on quality electronic music and a commitment to supporting groundbreaking artists, our label has achieved significant success in a short space of time.
By the end of 2024 we’d released 10 artist albums and 54 singles from 23 artists, plus a top set of remixes too. We’ve released albums by Jon Carter, Serge Santiago, Scott Booth, Evl Tom, Cousn, Third Bloom, Lisa Moorish and Steve Mac, and singles by all of the above plus On The House (Marshall Jefferson & Curtis McClain), Chip-E, Redraft Memories, George Reid & Ten Ven, Martin Badder & Antony Szmierek, Chapter & Rowetta, ITHURTZ, Luca LeBleu, Arthur Baker, ASOY, Steve Mac & Irvine Welsh, Chad Jackson, Mutiny and more.
